The piece is rooted in mythological tales of creation, where humans are shaped from the clay. The clay tummy, gently embracing a flower, speaks to the intimate connection between life and death—the womb as the soft beginning, the tomb as the quiet return to the Greater Mother.
An abstract portrait of a woman,
woven with alchemical symbols. The sun shines with strength, the moon glows with intuition. Six-pointed stars—triangles joined— mirror dual minds, opposites reconciled within her.
The bed is where yesterday lingers—a quiet witness to sleepless nights, soft touches, and half-formed dreams. This piece reflects one of those moments: late-night exhaustion and the weight of hopes that didn’t quite land.

about
I am a London-based artist and lecturer at Morley College London, with a practice situated at the intersection of textiles, printmaking, and installation. Originally trained in fashion, my focus has gradually shifted to an art practice centered on the female body image and its diverse, layered meanings. My work explores the subtle language of the body—a vessel for emotions, memories, and dreams. Through textiles and the female form, I translate fleeting sensations and inner landscapes into visual metaphors. The body, with its universal presence, becomes a canvas for stories and symbolism, holding fragments of lived experiences and unspoken mysteries. With my art, I aim to nourish the collective imagination, fostering a deeper connection to the delicate, unseen threads of our shared humanity.
